Default Direction tire (RE01R) ok to reverse on track?

I am going to the track and where I've tracked my RE01R's are wearing on the left side.
I swapped them round so the meat is on the left side but the tread is in the wrong direction, is this ok?

I thought tread was just to channel rain from the middle of the tire to the sides but I just took it for a spin on the street and it seemed a little twitchy?

I wouldn't have any qualms about running 'em backwards.

You need to take them off the wheels and swap them around and then move that wheel to the other side. That will swap the inside of the tire for the outside and keep your directionality correct.

You just need to go to more tracks that run CCW to make sure the wear is even Should be fine though. The groves are just for water diversion.

We have found that on dry days it won't make a difference in performance. With standing water they do need to roll in the correct direction for best performance.

Nice. I was always under the impression that backwards rotation in the rain isn't the best thing, but it's okay in the dry as long as the tire construction is same on inside/outside etc.
