Default direzza star specs - rotate / swap?!

hey I autocrossed my tires pretty hard and they are wearing on the outside edges

anyone know can your have them swapped over from left to right so the inside edge is the outside edge on these?

Yes you can but you have to unmount, remounth & balance them. You can't just rotate from left to right.

I would say you can rotate but the wet tration would not be as good. We actually tested directional tires ran backwards and they were just as good in handling. They did not have the same hydroplanning resistance.

thats interesting, does that go for all directional tires, or just these? (ie falken azenis 615)

Wouldn't just swapping the wheels from left to right keep the worn outside edge still on the outside? You would have to unmount and move them (pointed the right direction) to the other side.

that's intersesting.

I was told that if you run directional tires backwards they have a chance of comming apart... so that's not true?
