Default Mounting asymmetric tires ?

I'll be installing my wheels soon and had a question about asymmetric tires. Is it preferred that the left side tires face one direction and the right side the other direction? Or is it better to have the front & rear tires reversed (as far as tread goes). Hard to explain but I think you get it (?)

if they are asymmetrical, then they should only be mounted one way

+1. The tire should have the "outside" sidewall marked as such.

aer the Sumitomo HTRZIII asymmetrical? i noticed if i mounted them all with the outside mark facing the outside the left front and right front with back backwards from one another. I disreguarded the outside stamping and put them all so that the tread was facing the same direction.

diagram as looking down on the tires fron the top if i had done what the OUTSIDE label wanted me to.

left side front: /////\\\\\\ right side front:\\\\\\//////

left side rear ://////\\\\\\\ right side rear :\\\\\\\//////
