I DIY'ed mine black last June...I love the look. Nice work.

By the way, Armor All is all you will ever need to keep them looking good.

i did em flat black also, sanded em, primed em and put a few coats of flat black on and this was about a year ago, still going strong

so if i want flat black should i just primer them? how will they hold to a pressure washer and degreaser? and does it get chipped very easy?

how bout a red lip around it, i like it black, but i want a red lip how would i do that?

yea i primed em and did a few coats in ultra flat black krylon and they came out better than i hoped for, and this was a hwile ago

here's a couple pics of mine.





I've been doing this with Engine Enamel only for a while now. I've gone through gunmetal, black, white, and am now back to black. I just sold this set actually. Good alternative to powdercoating since u can change colors easily. No chipping as long as you clean the wheels well and sand them down. engine enamel is super tough and is glossy so u don't need clear.

cus my stockies are a lil bit .. iono.. previous owner curb scraped
i wanted to clean mine up, but i now see i have an alternative

i am amazed at the outcome!!

planning on doing this myself now!

would stockies look good with chromish outer rime style with black spoke??
if not, non glossy black would look tight with spa and black top
was in my exterior mod decisions nice work
