Default Does anyone have kuhmo rear tires on S2000

I have noticed that most are lucky to get 10,000 miles out of the stock BS S-02 rubber.

I have the kuhmos on my TT and love them. Tons of stick and AWESOME in the rain, but then again, the TT has 235's on all four corners and quattro all wheel drive.

Does anyone have kuhmo rear tires on S2000? How do they compare on this car?

Thanks.

I have sold quite a few sets for the car and I haven't received any complaints. I will say they won't give you the dry stick of the S02 but they will last longer with good ride and tread life.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

I have 245/45 16's on the back. I really like them for the price. They don't have near the stickyness power that the S02's had, but they suit me just fine, but I'm not a crazy drive either. I have a set of 225/50's for the front when they go because the first guy at Tirerack I spoke to (not Jim) told me that the 245/45's would not fit on the S2K. Jim took care of me real well, so I decided to hang on to the 225/50's for the front when they go.

Sonne is correct. The pricing is the same but not everyone knows the car and the tires as well as I do. The S2000 is a pretty unique car as far as tires go.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

Help, I just purchased SSR GT1 wheels with Kumho 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 tires, I have had them on since friday, about 50 miles, upon moderate as well as heavy acceleration, the car moves to the left. It will change lanes if you don't hang on.
I am in the process of swaping them for Potenza's but would like to know what is wrong with the existing tires.

This sounds to stupid and simple, but those tires are directional. You need to make sure they are all mounted going the right direction. I had new tires put on my Z3 (the car I had prior to the S2K) and they mounted one wrong. Now they did catch it before I drove away, but it is a possibility.

Yes the tires are directional and today I checked again and the arrows are going in the correct direction, thanks for the input, also someone suggested that I had a flat, they don't look flat to me.
Jim at tire rack said today I need to put some miles on them and no one has ever complained about this problem to this extreme.
Well, Monday I get my Potenza's
