Default Double up H&R Wheel Spacers

I currently have a set of H&R 20mm DRM wheel spacers which have the built-in studs. I'm switching from my AP2 wheels to the AP1's. My AP2's do have the recessed slots at the back of the rims to allow the extended portion of the factory studs but the AP1's don't. I'm thinking of adding another set of H&R 5mm (hub-centric) spacers to clear them. Is it safe to double up the spacers even when they're hub-centric?

Do not do that. Just take the spacers off, it will look fine.

there was another thread about this not long ago.
I remember one said it was fine but I wouldn't recommend it.
