Default Dry rot? Weather checking? What's this look like?

I would like options whether this is consider dry rot or something else? All four tires have the same issue.

They are Michelin's lol. You think dry rot? If you were a car dealership and someone said you sold them a car with dry rotted tires. Would you replace them after looking at that picture?

Michelins are the only tires that are made of non synthetic rubber . Hence the reason they dry out faster. They are done. The petroleum bases used to manufactur the rubber have evaporated. These are illegal to sell. Put your foot down and insist in proper shoes

Funny part is the dealership is a certified state inspection station. And it passed safety. It has the station ID on the inspection. So I can prove the inspected it.

What is the date stamp on the tires. Im pretty sure if they are over a certain age you can use that agains them as proof.
Are those the regular Pilot Sports or the Pilot Sport AS?

I wouldn't say they're done just because of a little cracking... just don't do 150mph lol.

They are the A/S model. Date code is 40/09

So they were made the 40th week of 2009. They are fine and I would not be concerned about them at all.
