Dunlop SP8000 and A032R
I plan to replace my well worn SP8000s with the A032Rs I had waiting in the garage. I noticed today that the width of the Dunlop 225 is essentially same as the Yoko 245s; the previous A032R 225 I had seemed narrow, especially compared to the stock S02s of course.
The SP8000s performed very well.
The SP8000s performed very well.
Do you have a question? The Yokohama tire would handle better than the SP8000 but they would not last nearly as long. The A032R is a competition tire.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

Jim, I had no question, just wanted to post some experience; thanks!
The Dunlops lasted longer than any tire I have had on this car, and they were the third set of tires.
The Yoko A032Rs I had mounted yesterday I ordered from TireRack with heat cycling added.

I have run both tires as well, I started on the AO32R's, and I'm now on my 2nd set of SP8000's.... I liked the AO32R's a lot for a while, but after heat cycled daily they started to not perform as well as I would have expected... on cold days the SP8000's are far superior IMO.... and rain, I almost killed myseld with AO32R's going the speed limit on a few corners... I ended up not driving the car on rainy days and taking my sentra instead. Overall I'm very impressed with the SP8000's, cheap, good wear (8-10k miles like the SO2's) and handle very predictably taking away the bite of the so called "snap oversteer" with 245's on the rear.
