Yet another question for Jim @ Tirerack
From all that has appeared on this board, I am fairly sure that the Yoko EVS 100 would be the right replacement tire for me --- of course with the 245/45/16 rears! Now, two quick questions.
First, for regular "civilian" driving, would there be any problem with replacing the rears with these while leaving the front OEM's on for a while till they wear out?
Second, are these Yoko tires unidirectional and non- rotatable like the OEM's, or can they be rotated or reversed to balance tire wear?
Thanks much for all your help,
Richard

The ES100 is a directional tire so you can not rotate them. The ES100 would not have the same level of performance as the OE tires but if you are not an aggresive driver they would work fine. They should give you a little longer tread life as well.
As far as mixing with the S02 the problem would show up in an emergency situation. With the S02 in the front it will stick longer than the rear tires. This will cause oversteer when it is needed the least.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
