Thumbs up et45 all round

Im looking into getting some wheels that are 17" 7.5" et45 front and rear. is there a option of going with tyres at different sizes to reduce the effect of not having a staggered offset (215 front and 235 rear) for example. if so is there a best option? i can use spacers aswell if it would be a better option for the rear

thanx very much

fergie

I would look at a 205/50R17 and 225/45R17 on the rear. This will keep you in the same diameter front and rear. They are also going to fit without rubbing.

Why is everyone here so keen on maintaining stagger?

i can't speak for anyone else, but for me, i prefer it due to the fact the suspension is designed for it. if anything, the car could use more rubber in the rear, as evidenced by the CR's 255s....

i always laugh when i see a car not designed for stagger run such a setup... especially a fwd car with bigger rubber in the rear...

if you really want to stuff a 245 up front, take the extra step and squeeze a 265 in back.....

Interesting. I can't imagine having 255's in back with 215's front being good for neutral handling....but I'll try it.

I personally don't like it cause the front will stick out more than the back.
