Default Excessive Right Rear Tire Wear

After 16K miles, my 2003 S2000 has virtually no thread on right rear while left rear still has some. The wear is even across the tire. My mechanic says I'm peeling too much rubber, but I know better. Is my experience normal for S2000 or should I search for car problem / modify my driving habits?
Thanks,
Debbie

I think you need an alignment done. It would appear that your camber from one side to the other is not symmetrical. Normally, one would see accelerated tread wear on the inner part of each rear tire, but both sides will be even.

had the exact same problem - have the camber and toe settings checked.
