Somebody please tell me the 16 inch W rated SO2 is still available....front and rear.

this is the second post i've seen with this question, is this true that the OEM S02's are being discontinued?!?!?! This is not good!!!!! if it is......can we get Jim in here to answer this?

The 16 inch W rated S02 is still available...front and rear. There I said it.
Tire rack has them.

Yeah I know they're still availible but that doesn't mean they are not being discontinued.

I believe an OEM supplier has to produce or make available there original product for up to 10 years, so don't panic.

I can guarantee 100% that the OEM tire will be discontinued. It's only a matter of when. My guess is not in the near future since there is likely still demand for them. Even then, there will be aftermarket tires that work well, so what is all the fuss about?

Well..I've tried other stuff, seems like nothing handles quite the way the SO2's do....anybody know/proven a 16" that has the same stick as the SO2?

Oh yeah there are plenty of tires that are as good as SO2s.
Just that it doesn't come in at right size for us.

BTW, I have been using RE750s and I am on my second set, they are as good as SO2s except dry handling gives off a little bit. But the wet trackion makes up the huge difference and I have never had any issues of pushing the car to it's limit. For the price and wet traction makes up all that you lose in dry handling of SO2.

The S02s are the best. You might want to check out the Pirelli PZero System or the S03s.
