Well they are still up on the website, so I guess they are not being discontinued just yet, or they are to lazy to update their website.

Just talked to a guy at the local Bridgestone/Firestone center.

He told me the S02's are discontinued and offered to sell me the S03's.

The local tire moron has no clue. The local tire moron at the Firestone here doesn't either. Discount Tires can get them. They don't seem to be morons.

Oh yeah there are plenty of tires that are as good as SO2s.
Just that it doesn't come in at right size for us.

BTW, I have been using RE750s and I am on my second set, they are as good as SO2s except dry handling gives off a little bit. But the wet trackion makes up the huge difference and I have never had any issues of pushing the car to it's limit. For the price and wet traction makes up all that you lose in dry handling of SO2.

I've had two S2K's and gone through S02's, S03's and now 750's. I highly recommend the 750's for the better wet traction, longer treadwear and only a slight loss in dry grip!

I just ordered rears from costco today. they called bridgestone directly to make sure they were oem honda tires. they have not been discontinued. alot of suppliers are not carrying them. costco had to call and special order these for me as they were not in their catalog. for some reason they had our fronts in their catalog so the guy knew they could get the rears. i got them cheap, rears are 188 mounted and balance (also lifetime balancing included at that price). i paid 168 or 171 for the front tire with same deal (mounted/balanced)

Dry traction is all I am concerned with. I was able to get a set today, price went from 145 to 153 for dealer cost. 188 is a good deal. I think I may get a few more sets....
