Two other possibilities in addition to what has been mentioned:

1. Improperly torqued suspension. All suspension bolts need to be tightened with the knuckle under load, not hanging loose. If your suspension was ever off the car (I'm guessing it was, based on those wonky wheels from the previous owner), it may not have been loaded properly when re-assembled.

2. Bent suspension component. Knuckle is the easiest part to bend and the first thing to have checked out.
