Default First time wheel buyer, need help.

There is so much information out here in cyberspace that I am confused. I need help selecting wheels.

What is meant by offset such as 55mm?
The stock sizes on the s2k are staggered 16 and 17, does that mean the new rims have to be the staggered also.
If no to ? above will two rims the exact same size(17x7's) look right on the s2000.
Wheels come in sets of 4, can you buy different sizes for the rear and for the front?
What is the bolt pattern? 5 lug, 114?
What wheel stores have you found the best deals from?

Here is some info on wheels.

This will help you with the terminology. Your car comes with 16" front and rear but it has a wider wheel on the rear. For the best handling you would want to stay that with a staggered fitment whether you go with 16" or 17" or 18". We have numerous wheels that fit the S2000.
If I can help with the wheel and tire package let me know.
Thank you

Staggered stock setup means that the front and rear wheels/tires are different widths, not diameter.
S2000 stock has 205 width front and 225 width rear.
You need to maintain this staggered ratio with getting new set! Which means a no no to having the same size on all 4 corners.
Yes, our bolt pattern is 5/114 which means 5 lugs and spaced out ~114 mm from the opposite lugs.
Hope this helps alittle.

Yes, even better if you have the correct offset.
