Default flipping asymmetrical tires

well i was looking around other enthusiast forums (mainly nasioc and evom), and i found a few threads where people have successfully tracked asymmetrical tires that were flipped i.e. "outside" on the inside of the wheel and "inside" on the outside of the wheel. supposedly the only negative in doing this was that the rain groove/tread were now on the outside, therefore having really bad wet traction. any thoughts on this. any input appreciated. thanks.

You are fine. They only have an inside and outside whoulder. Once they are mounted correctly on the wheels you can put them on any side.

jim, sorry if my post was confusing. i was wondering if it was safe to mount the "outside" tread on the inside of the wheel and vice versa. any inputs appreciated.
