Flipping tires? L->R
My s2000 came with coilovers and an agressive camber setting. The inside of the front tires are worn more than the outsides ( practically new looking). Just wondering if any of you have the tires flipped from left to right and so on to get more life out of the tires.
I flipped my front tires left to right earlier this year, and didn't have any problems except that they vibrated a little bit due to the edge of the tire cupping. I am replacing them next year anyway, so it wasn't a big factor. BTW, i have the stock S-02 Potenza's on right now.
How much tread is left on the inside of your tires? If they are bald, you may not even want to use them when they are flipped because the tire will still be bald, just in a different spot now.

I flipped both front and rear tires, rear tires were flipped at 8k miles and front tires were flipped at 14k miles. Also, I have both front and rear inflated to 36 PSI to reduce wear on the inside tires. Flipping uni-directional tires may increase tire life by up to 20-30% for $10 each tire is money well spent.
