New tires...
...Hi Jim;as I'm getting older,and not so exited,or more calm,and the fact that I hate,having new tires in the rear,and old ones,in
the front, what tires would you advise me to get, next spring, for my S2K,that would last me at least 25,000 miles, and give me good handling, similar to my KuMho MXs.

While, still running,U.K.Alingment,.for Max fun on the road.???

Emil, don't think those magic tires exist.
No matter what tires you get the rears will wear around 2x faster than the fronts if you only street drive them. And don't try to mix brands to get even wear, that's a accident waiting to happen. I guessing that you get around 10-15k miles on the rears, so to get twice the tire life you're going to give up a lot of grip with harder tires. Just double the wear rating and see what kind of tires that gives you and then you can decide.
You can reduce the rear toe alignment. The rear toe gives rear stability, but also scrubs the tires increasing wear. If you're OK with that, that's a way to increase rear tire life.
