Getting good Tyres
I have had at least 4 different types of Tyres now as the ones designed for the car are no longer made here has anyone found a good replacement in UK .
Most Tyres I have tried are too soft walled and leave the back end very splashy.Only slightly improved by increasing the tyre pressure by a couple of PSI

Federal has a few options and I think they are available in the UK. Depending on how slick you want them they have a few options. Aside from that You need to give us some more info on what you need from your tires. Do you daily drive the car? Drive in the rain? Snow? Or is it just for nice days?

I do 20000 miles a year, it is my only car I drive in all weathers except snow as it is not possible to drive in snow or ice with any tyres I have had.
Ok got it so you aren't looking for crazy track tires. I will say that both the Z2's and RE11a's are supposed to be good even in the rain and they will provide the most grip. The pilots mentioned are another good option as are the continental DW's. If you are looking for more budget friendly the Federal 595ss is a decent street tire. I have these on my car and drive in the rain with little issue. I will be going to the Z2's or RE11A when it is time for tires next year.

What tires have you previously had on the car? If you don't want tires with very soft sidewalls then stay away from all seasons. Get something from the max performance summer or UHP summer tire category.
