got my new wheels and tires. Need some help
I recently bought a set of enike RPF1s. 17X8 in front and 17X9 in the rear. Tires are hancook ventus.17/45/225 front 17/40/255 rear. I know this is a fairly common setup and thought I would maybe just need a mild roll. However after I installed them it looks like the rears are sticking out past the fender. I didn't think that was going to happen and I am unsure what to do. However, it does look like there is a good amount of clearance between the wheels and and the fender. the S2K suspension doesn't have a lot of give so I was unsure if i would even need to take any action. I have the stock suspension.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what they did. I know this is a common setup.

on the plus side they look really sweet

whats the offset???
the rs3 tire runs wide already as it is,...and you dont appear to be lowered ....if you lower it the natural camber will give enough to clear
if you are not lowered i highly doubt you will compress the suspension enough to hit anything until you get an alignment to dial in some camber.
-2.5 should be enough

If u lower it the wheel will camber in slightly on its own had some mb weapons tht stuck out considerably further lowered with a very mild roll on k sport coilovers great clearance my buddy rpf1s we really aggressive and had no problems as well
45 mil offset. I am not going to lower the car. I don't care if it sticks out as long as it doesn't rub. I would think lowering it would make it much more likely to rub. IMO the car is low enough as it is.
so would all I need to do is get an alignment? I don't drive the car here in the winter so I wouldn't get it aligned until the spring when i first take it out.

If all you did was the wheels and tires you don't need an alignment. What others are saying is if you were lowered you would need to run more agressive camber so the tires would tuck under the fender and yes a roll for sure. On stock suspension and ride height you should be fine the way it is. The only rubbing issue you may have is if you really bottom the car out hard and the tire hits the fender. Just be careful of bumps and that sort of thing.

Looks great IMO. If you are going to autox it, then go ahead and get a more aggressive alignment than stock. You will run more aggressive camber in the rear anyway, and this will naturally give more clearance.

op i think u should be fine both front and rear if u ever bottom out.
not sure about the front wheels though if at full lock and bottoming out the front suspension u might get contact.
