Default RPF1/Tire help!

Hey guys! Just wanted to know which setup is better?

17x9f 45, 225/45/17
17x10r 45, 255/40/17

or

17x9 45 all around
225/45/17, 255/40/17

What is the best tire setup for 17x9 all around?

Moved to wheel and tire.

Well considering they don't make the RPF1 in 17x10 +45 thats not a possible setup. The 17x9+45 all around is very common and most run either 245/40/17 all around or 255/40/17 all around. Of and any of these setups would require rolling all the fenders and relocating the tabs.

What Manga said, the 17x10 is a +38 offset I think so I'd stick to the 17x9+45 setup front and rear for better fitment. You should be good with a 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 stagger for the 17x9, but at the same time you will have the option of doing a square 255/40/17 setup should you decide later on as well. Just know that would make the car much more prone to oversteer, running the wider 255 up front as well, and generally other modifications (particularly suspension especially for AP1's) should follow.

Hey guys..

I am currently on stock suspension with plans to go lower in the future.. for now I am trying to find the perfect fitment for my RPF1s.

17x9f 225/45/17
17x9.5r 255/40/17

This seems to look perfect from the pictures I have seen.. Any opinions?

Thanks! Throw any pictures in the responses..

You don't need a new thread every time you post. Just reply to this one. What are the offsets of the new setup.

Sorry about multiple threads. The front is a 45 offset and the rear is 38.

Roll fenders. Those are fairly aggressive rears so you will need -3 camber. It is doable but it takes work.

why wouldn't you just do the 17x9f +45 in the rear as well, 255 fits nicely on a 9.0 inch wheel. Why over complicate.

I wouldn't go with a 225/45-17 on a 17x9 wheel...

I'm curious, why wouldn't you use a different wheel (e.g. PF01) that comes in 17x9 +60? Wouldn't that minimize fender clearance problems?
