Default Help needed quick

I have a set of 225-60-16 winter tires, studded.

Will they fit on my ap1 ? (on the stock wheels)

guy at the garage says it wont (maybe he's right , but he seemed to say that so he could sell me the tires)

Its gonna snow hard on wednesday, 20cm, would like to install tomorow.

Thank you very much

Ps : i tried the search but didnt findanything.
