Default Help with tires

I have a 2003 S2000 that I absolutely LOVE but it needs new tires. I put new back tires on after 21,000 and now at 30,000 I need new front ones. Besides the tires that Honda recommends does anyone have a good suggestion of tires that will last a little longer than 20,000/30,000 without giving up to much of the performance?

The tires are what connect the car to the road. They are what makes the car fun to drive. 20,000 to 30,000 miles is ver good for an S. I bought mine with 21,000 and the second set of tires were worn out. Now I have Michelins and I love them. That's the price you pay for a fun car.

It's a good thing you're asking! If you have anything other than stock S-02s tires, you need to get a 245 width for the rears!

This is essential for safe handling. When we had our '00 and '01, I used to go through rears every 10-12,000 miles. My wife would get more from hers, usually 12-15,000. The fronts would normally last twice as long. Somepeople have had better life with the Michelin Pilot sports. Just mind the sizes

If you are looking for better life out of a performance tire take a look at the Bridgestone RE750. I have them on a BMW and they handle great in wet and dry. This is my second full year and I just took them off for the winter and they still look great.
If you are willing to give up some dry performance this would be my suggestion.
If I can help let me know..

The RE750 is good. I had them on my car for 8 months before upgrading rim sizes.
