We'll keep it to the rear tires only, since it could be confusing otherwise.

Please post based on actual experience. Pick the miles at which the tires got to 2/32" (or unsafe to drive in your opinion).

Miles please (thanks for converting from Km)

Excuse the mistype, please fix if you have the power

Cool

Starting to see a nice bell curve centered around 14000.

Unfortunately that means new tires once a year for many people!

I drive my S2k daily since I bought it in Sep 2000..... I did around 40,000 miles.. (65000Km)..
Two changes were made for the rear tires... and once for the front.........
I used to have the OS2 Bridgistone.and it costs ..... now I am having GT3 bridgiston.(1/3 the price ) . and they are in the track.{I THINK}... I am new in the autocross... I barley drive, but in the last event that took in 18Nov. I came 1st in Astock... So I think it is time to re-think of the tires... if I can survive with them in the next event,,,,,, I was Lucky

My OEM tires dryrooted to the point that they wouldn't hold air at 5,400 miles. All four! I went to the local B'stone tire dealer and he said that dryrot was not covered by warranty. I called the regional office and they danced a lot with no satisfaction. I went to the Honda dealer. He couldn't get his finger unstuck from his rear end fast enough. I told just leave it there. I took the loss.

Okay, Jim, I start to look for an installer. If I can find one, I'll buy the tires from you, if it makes sense economically. Guess what? It doesn't. The bastards who are Bridgestone dealers want $50 per wheel and some even want a damage waiver on the wheels signed on top of it. Those who are not B'stone dealers don't want to mount them at all. Tire Rack doesn't save me enough money to afford an extra $200.00. I recently bought some huge Goodyear eagles from Tire Rack for the back of my widebody Porsche. It has 16" X 11" rims. I can't even get them mounted. And I'll be needing tires on my Viper soon. Yay, whoopie.

OEM S-02 => 10,000 miles total (but like glass in the rain/mist at 7,000 miles)
RE730 => 6,000 miles (big mistake)
1.) S-03 PP => 9,500 miles but sticky even in the rain, and right up to the end
2.) S-03 PP => 9,500 miles but sticky even in the rain, and right up to the end
3.) S-03 PP => 9,000 miles so far, but still sticky in the rain.
Total of 44,000 mostly highway miles on the car right now, and still loving it!!!
Going to try the new Yoko AVS ES100's this week due to cost and treadwear rating.
