Default How will it sit?

Hi All,

Just after a bit of advice really!
( comming from a complete noob) , i have been offered a cracking deal on a set of wheels / tyres!
Rota grid drifts with the following spec... 18x9.5 all round, ET30 tyres 235/40/18.

Now i know for a fact im going to need the arches /fenders rolled, what i need to know is will my car still be practical?
I love the whole stance hella flush side of things, i just don't wanto to ruin the car, i really don't see the point in owning the s if im gonna scrape/rub everywhere i go.
i still want the car to be pratical if you get me.

Also remember i live in the UK, the roads are shocking compared to what you guys are blessed with!

if any one could link me up to someone on here with a similar setup that would be great. Btw i have checked the offical rota section, doesn't seem to be alot on there with the above specs.

Here is how im hoping it will look...

Cheers

Elliot

Ha someone else named Elliot (though I spell it with 2 t's). My advise is don't do it. Especially if you have to drive the car daily. You will have to pull the fenders quite a bit and run at least 3.5 degrees of camber all around. Plus those tires are a downgrade from stock width wise. With the roads you have to deal with the risk is just to high for damage to your fenders or quarter panels.

haha yeah man i have no idea why my parents decided to spell it with one T :S
And thanks for the advice bud, i did have a feeling it would be a bit of a mision to use as a daily, i know it looks awsome but i just won't enjoy driving it, which initially was the main reason i got the s2000! my friend who is assuring me it will be fine is obviously just keen to shift them haha!
I guess i will go back to my original plan, a nice set it 17" rpf1's. Although they are a pain in the ass to get hold of over in the UK!

Thanks again for the heads up mate!

Yeah if you want flush fitment thats not going to give you problems get something in the +40's. A 17x9 +40 or +45 will still look flush and let you run a proper tire without a ton of camber. I have 17x9 +43 fronts and 17x10 +35 rears and it is tough to drive around everywhere but then I don't daily my car. If I did I would not be running such aggressive offsets in the rear.
