Default HUGE NAIILL IN REAR TIRE!

I just got home and noticed that I had a huge sharp nail going into the tire and sticking out of the sidewall (scratching the lip of my wheel)!!! Can it be patched up or will I need a new tire?

Your tire's sidewall is damaged? You'll need new tires.

Sidewall area is sketchy to patch I'd get one or 2 depending on how worn out your other rear tire is.

If sidewall is bad, you need a new tire, possibly two depending on how worn the other one is.

Don't feel too bad, I once had a nail in the shoulder on a brand new Toyo RA-1, yep sidewall or shoulder puncture cannot be safely repaired (too much flex in that area).
