I've got ~10k mi on my Goodyear Eagle F1 A2s and they have been great. I can't speak for road noise as I think they are quiet, but that's pretty subjective. Performance-wise, they have been great, but they behave differently on account of the soft sidewall design - rather than fight in a corner, they flex early, which is actually satisfying as you don't worry about the tire rolling over mid-corner.
