Default I need a lesson

Im a noob to tires, plz give me a lesson of what stagger is??

For example stagger 1.5" 2"...... what are those??

stagger is the differences between the tire widths from front to rear. i.e. if your rims are 7.5 in. in the front and 9 in. in the rear you have a stagger of 1.5 in.

More specifically, 1.5", 1", 2" etc. is referring to the width of the tread, not necessarily the width of the whole tire.

Stickies at the top may help explain why. Quick example is the OEM RE050 front tire, which is a 215/45R17 - 215mm is the width of the tire, but it only has about 6.7" of tread width. Most 215mm wide tires have more than 7" of tread width (usually closer to 7.5").
