Default Ideal rim and tire size?

Just wondering what the ideal rim and tire size is for the s2000? The ones that came on my car have the wrong offset and there is some damge on the front fender from it hitting it.

The wheel manufacturer with the closest to OEM spec's is Volk Racing, if your going with a 17" wheel that is. They have an offset +50 in the front, and +63 in the rear, which is very close to the stock 17" AP2 wheel setup. Not to mention Volk's are a hot lookin' wheel too

As for tire sizes on the above setup, your looking at 225-45-17 in the front, and 255-40-17 for the rear.

what about for 18inch. there is a guy selling a set of Volk te 37 locally of his 350z that are 18 but hes not sure of the other diminsions so id have to measure with a tape measure or find the sticker on them. Apperently he's to dumb to read it himself.

350Z wheels will NOT work on an S2K, Please read the Sticky at the top of this forum for proper fitment, offsets are very important on this car.
OEM fitment is as follows 5x114.5
Also watch out for hub measurements, most aftermarket wheels need hubcentric rings .
Front:
16" x 6.5", +55 offset, 205 tire
Rear:
16" x 7.5", +65 offset, 225 tire

and the OEM MY04+ (AP2) wheels (including MY06) are as follows:

Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tire
Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tire

uh, is the bolt pattern on both cars 5/114.3
Do you mean the offset wont work?
18/ 8.5 30 offset front and 18/9.5 35 offset rear

The offsets definitely will NOT work. The best fitment is the OEM fitment, Please read the stickys at the top of this forum--Deviating too far from the stock stagger can dangeruosly upset the balance of the car.
