Post interested in advans wondering if they will fit

im looking into getting these advan wheel + tire combo for my ap1.

my ap1 is on stock suspension + stock height. my fenders are stock and not rolled in the front or the rear.

the wheels are Advan RS's in 18x8.5 with a set of RE-01R's. i think the offset the guy said was 40 offset.

BOLT PATTERN is 5x114.3

my question is are 18's too big for a s2000 or will they work ok? i have no problem in being raised like a rally car if it is functional and i dont have any rubbing issues.

the setup is not staggard so the front matches the reach size wise.

the tires that come on the wheels are 235/40-18.

i can change the tire sizes when i get the wheels to something more S friendly. i was just wondering if the wheels themselves will be ok to fit on my car.

any help is appreciated. thanks again for looking...

and here is a pic of the wheels

Do you now if the holes for the wheelnuts are right ? And if the centre holes in the wheels are the right size ? Centre holes have different sizes front and rear .

The rear I think will fit . But the front will give problems with a +40 and 18x8,5 and a 235 .

S2000 frontaxle bolt pattern 5x114,3 center bore 64.1
S2000 rearaxle " " 5x114,3 center bore 70.2

You also have to check the center bore . The S2K has a different center bore front and rear . Normally the center bore for Subaru is around 56mm . And that's to small for the S .

The centerbore will be 73.1 mm on the Advan RS wheels. You can use hub centric rings to center them on your hubs.

The RS was never offered in 18x8.5" +40 though. The wheels are either +31 or +50mm offset, as these are all that Advan offers.

235/40/18 is also too tall of a tire size for the S2000, which will probably create rubbing issues.

If the wheels have the +50mm offset, they should fit pretty well on your car if you change the tire size to something more suitable, such as 245/35/18 front and rear.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I can definitely help you out.
