Default Js front fenders wheels

Does anyone know what is the perfect fitting wheel size/offset with the js front fenders? Would like to run minimum camber in the front. How would 17x10 +38 with a 275/40 tire be?

Those fenders are +35mm I do believe. If so, that fitment would work fine with minimal camber. You could probably go even more aggressive an offset. That is quite a balloon for a tire up front though. I'm running a 255/10 +58 on a "relatively" stock front fender, so 35mm on top of that with similar fitment would put you at a 10 +23. With a 275/40 and minimal camber I would probably stick to a +30 or higher offset. But +38 would be playing it safe, yes.

Oh yeah thats right about the 275/40 being a balloon. I have that size in the rear I like how it looks not sure if it would look okay up front though

Are you going for looks or maximizing performance more? Looks wise, well they are a balloon, but if you like the way they look then that's great. Performance wise your going to get more grip vs a 255 of equivalent compound, however the compromise is a loss in steering feel and precision. Anytime you get a taller sidewall, plus compounded further by added grip in this case, the sidewall will flex more, so it will feel less direct, the tread wants to do one thing wile your steering wheel/rim is doing something else. Your feel will also be numbed further, which some complain already about a numb feel due to the EPS system. There is a point where 18" wheels make more sense then a 17". However, that's for you to decide where you want to make the compromises, there is almost always a compromise when you make a change/modification.

Does anyone know if I can still have my passenger side fuse box in the fender area still? Looks like it will but want to make sure. Also can I still use stock fender liners?
