Jim, FR1 prices?
Hey Jim,
I decided to go with the ASA FR1's (if they still make 'em). What will be the total price (including taxes, S&H, balancing...etc. etc.) for 17x8 front(215/45) and 17x9(255/55) rears with Yokohama ES100's? How much cheaper will the entire setup be if I go with Kumho Mx's?
I did a search and I know you recommended 225's in front, but I want to eventually lower my car with an Eibach pro kit. On that note...are 255 rears going to be too wide?? I cannot afford to RUB..the roads in chicago are just too crappy.
Anyways,...some input (from everyone) and a total price (Jim) would be appreciated.

I have that exact wheel/tire combo with no problems after 8000 miles, even autocrosses. A fellow North Texas owner has lowered a bunch with the same wheels without problems as well. He has likely over-cambered his wheels though. Somewhat strangely, the rear tread has worn down the middle very quickly, so I've had to adjust my pressures and alignment to compensate some.
The rears have lots of clearance (63 offset). It is the front you might worry about when lowered, and some have used 215 or 205 tires.

The package price will be 1,480.00 plus about 60.00 shipping. We have more of the rear wheel due into us about 10/17. They will still be the ASA name at that point. With the 63mm rear offset you can still lower the car no problem.
Give me a call if I can help.
Thank you
