Jim, Please comment on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Jim or anyone
I was browsing tirerack and came across Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
I dont know if they will fit stock rims properly..WOULD LIKE ONFO IF AVAL FOR STOCK RIMS
but for 17's(im planning Volk CE28n's) when I can afford them
225/45/17 YR no 215 in pilot sport A/S
255/40/17 YR
But my questions
according to tire racks comment page
these tires have overall rating of 9.1
a 400 wear rating
and the one quote that stands out...something like... its hard to find a SUMMER compound tire with more overall grip
So does anyone have experience with this tire??
would you recommend it for the S2000 in either stock size or 17??
Thanks

It is by no means as good a handling tire as the S02 tire that came on the car. If you are looking for an all season tire with longer wear it is a good choice.
The Pilot Sport AS would give you a longer tread life. If you are willing to give up handling for longer life it is a good choice. If you don't want to compromise the handling don't do it.
