Default Kumho Problem

I have a dilema here... I bought used rims with 225 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's in the front and the rear tires are shot. I want to make sure I get an equivalent tire so that I dont get oversteer/understeer... I was looking at the Kumho line and was thinking about getting the Kumho SPT 245's. Are they a good match and are there any others you would recommend? The rims are 7.5" in the front and 8" in the rear. If you need any more information please let me know. Thank you for your help.

The best choice would be to go with a 215/245 setup front and rear. To maintain stagger, a 225/255 setup is common, but you cannot do this because the 8" rim is too skinny for a 255. You would also be mismatching tires if you got the SPT's on the rear only. You may want to consider getting new SPT's on all corners.

The Spt would be the best match. It did take the place of the Ecsta 712.
I would go with the 255/40R17 if you have the 225/45R17 in the front.
If I can help let me know.
