Default OMIGAWD can't decide on summer shoes.

i want something relatively affordable, higher traction and medium wear. so i've narrowed down to 4 tires in OEM AP1 sizes:

Kumbo SPT $309 (rear 225)
Fuzion ZR $368 (rear 245)
Avon M500 $387 (rear 245)
Kumbo MX $407 (rear 225)

from what i've gathered:
SPTs are more "durable", less sticky; ZR and M500s are similar -M500 stickier, weighs 2 lbs more per tire, and less "durable" than ZR. and finally, the MX, short tread life, high stickiness.

I'm mostly deciding the ZR and the M500, but man, it's been 2 days, and i just can't decide anyone have thoughts?? if only Azenis 215s are still aronund...

It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the best handling it would be the MX of all the tires you mention. The other tires are going to give other things so it really depends on what you want. They are all good options.
If I can help let me know.

i was *THIS* close to getting the Kumho MX, but fell back to M500s instead. the SPTs, IMO, is just more focused on treadware life than i'd like.

pro's of this tire:
good stickiness/treadware ratio
245s
moderately priced (tho not CHEAP)

con's
heavy @ 28 lbs

hope i don't regret it. autocross school next weekend so i'm gonna find out REAL soon how these hold up... FWIW, not too many people using the Avon M500s...
