A little frustrated
They say not to mix tires because the car can end up with unpredictable handling in an emergency situation. Also some tires just don't like each other and you can end up with the car pulling one way or another.
I got the Hankooks installed today. Only drove 1.5 miles home so I can't say anything about them, however, the guy said my Potenzas were manufactured in '05. I think these must have been the stock tires that came on the car brand new. I bought the car with 28k miles and I've put 8k on it. The rears were bout done, but the fronts still had tread left, but they were cracked in between the tread grooves. Has anyone heard of 36k miles on stock Potenzas? Made me feel good that whoever the first owner was must've really babied my car.

The S is just a tire eating monster. The last time I bought tires (last fall) I was between the Ventus V12 EVO and the Sumitomo HTRZ IIIs (which I ultimately bought). For the price, they are great. Let us know how the Hankooks are.
