Default Looking for advice on wheels

I'm looking into buying some wheels for my AP2 the only modification i bought so far is Buddy Club N+ but i havent installed them yet.
I'm debating on buying Enkei RPF01 in black 17x9 +45
Enkei PF01 17x9 not sure the offset yet in either white or black.
Im looking to see what others think of these two wheels. I have a budget of $1,100 right now and im trying to get these with 255 tires on all four

white on a silver stone is ehhhh for me. i'd recommend a dark/"hyper" silver or black. i was running black Volk CE28s but went back to stock. i recently plasticdipped the stock wheels because i couldn't handle the silver wheels. black wheels have been know for ages to be the only way to make a silver car look better. black soft top, black bumper accent, windshield tape, i've blacked out my shroud in the headlights and put in smoked diffusers.

What he said.

Keep em stock if you can and save up for some aftermarket wheels and paint THEM the color of your choosing. Painting stockies looks cheap when done improperly

Lol...So you're car "looks" cheap? =P Haha

I've had silver, gloss black, gunmetal, white, SBC finish and currently have semi-flat black wheels. Currently looking into wider wheels in silver(so my car looks less aggressive). Silver blends in. :-)

Btw, "Gloss" black looks really good. "Flat" black starts to look cheap.

On a silver car I'd stay with silver wheels(looks classier). Guessing you have a silverstone so a darker silver would match. If you have sebring silver then the Enkie's F1 silver is a great option. Matches perfect.

Agreed.

Silver/Aluminum looks good on anything, cant go wrong and silver/aluminum color will be a nice contrast to silverstone, in my opinion matching the wheel color to your body color looks cheap and match box car like. The way I see it, If your trying to make a statement in color choice, your taking a chance and its usually going to be polarizing, so right off the bat you can expect half the people wont like it, but if you do that's the main thing. But since your taking a pole, you obviously care what others think of your car, which is fine too. I enjoy having a ride that moves myself and others in a good way, it adds to the enjoyment.

I like there to be a contrast to the body color of the car. I'd say black or the SBC or hyper black would look good. I strongly dislike the white with the polished lip. It just looks strange to me.

If you go for the PF01, get the PF01 SS. They have friendly S2000 offsets, and they look better then the regular PF01. I just got a set of the +60 17x9 PF01SS.
