Default Looking for opinion on Winter Tire size

Recommended to me:

205/55R16 and 225/50R16
215/45R17 and 245/40R17
205/50R17 and 225/45R17

However I can't quite find those exact sizes used.

I've come across an option to pick 4x Blizzak 245/45/17 on + 40 offset rims.

I have a feeling these tires are too big though.. will they fit and/or are they a good idea?

We have tires in those sizes. They may or may not be in stock yet but we will have all of those sizes available. The 245/45R17 is too big and wide for the car.
If I can help just let me know.

Hi Jim,

You selection is awesome and I actually priced out the exact set I was looking for, unfortunately shipping to Canada is insane due to duty, tire tax, new HST, and overall package weight.

If I can't find anything locally or used by winter time I'll have them shipped to the border and pay Duty + HST + tire tax + UPS fees + border crossing fees + gas and save the shipping fees. Sadly even with all the above costs its still cheaper than Canadian tire prices...

Narrow is better. Cuts through the snow more easily.

The 205/50R16 would be short on the S2K. You can run the 205/55R16 all the way around for winter if you get a lot of snow. That size will give you the most snow traction.
If I can help let me know.

BTW Mazda rims will not work.
