This is true, but you would be surprised at all the free hand torqued lugnuts out there. I used to be one of them until my wife bought me a torque wrench.
Yeah...do you remember what I measured you hand torque job to?

Well then. I was driving the car hard, but i will not be doing that anymore. So where can i get the Rays lugs, and the hubcentric rings shipped like 1-2 day air? I currently dont have my stock wheels, and wont have them back until this saturday. Thanks a lot for all your help guys.

You were told wrong. If you drive like a granny and never push the car, then you're probably going to be OK. But if you drive it the way it is able to be driven, those lugnuts won't do. Things will start breaking and at the very least, you will see the rim holes start to warp.
The centering rings should be bought from a dealer of Volks. You need two different sizes as the front and rear hubs on this car are different diameters. We have hubcentric rims where the weight of the car is supported by the hubs. Right now, you are running lugcentric where all the weight is supported by the lugs - not what the car was designed to do.
Rings aren't really going to help much as most of the rings I've seen are make out of plastic.

OEM rims have ball style seats and most aftermarket rims are cone/acorn style.

You're not too far from Evolution Motorsports. Contact them. They may even have these in stock:

I use a combination of Rays Duranuts w/ wheel lock set & 2 sets of Bull Locks. I use 2 regular rays duranuts, 1 Rays wheel lock, and 2 different Bullocks per wheel. They never seem to lose torque ever. Rays nuts are expensive but I love em. This seem overboard but security is a must. Also when people look at my nuts, they're like WTF???

Nice. I just ordered a set of the Kyokugen. I know ive heard bad things about them, but i couldnt beat the price, and i wanted polished/chrome. Also, i only use a torque wrench when putting lug nuts on, so there will be no problem there. I did next day air so they would get here asap, only cost me about 95$. Next step is to get hubcentric rings. Where can i order those from, and what size do i need?
