Default Lugs coming loose

This past Friday I put my Prodrive GC-010G forged wheels on using Ray's lug nuts. I tightened them to torque specs of 80lbs. Something told me to check them again today and about half of them were loose. Am I doing something wrong? I did the final tightening/torquing once I lowered the car to the ground.

With brand new lugs and wheels you have to re-torque them after 25-50 miles to ensure that they are properly seated.

I would also make sure the wheels are hub centric and the wheel is all the way on. I had a customer who rotated his tires and put the rears on the front and front on the back and the wheels he put on the front came off because the wheel did not fit the cars hub.

Thanks guys,

Jim the wheels are hub centric and were seated properly.

I will recheck again to make sure that there is no problem.
