Default Milage from RS3's

just wondering, from those of you that have gone through at least 1 set of Hankook RS3s how many miles did you get out of them?

I was getting about 6k miles but that included 2 autox events per month with 7 or 8 runs each event, and dealing with the highly abrasive florida roads... Now I don't DD on them because of how quick they wore out.

I'm at 8k miles on mine, with one track event (two days at Mosport, wet/dry). Still have 5/32 tread depth, 3/32 to the wear bars vs. 9/32 new, so should have ~6000 more miles, looking like they're on track for 14k total. Not bad...

How are they wearing for everyday driving? Many people who track these say they need a lot of camber to realize their full potential. How about on the street? Also, do they need a lot of heat before they start to grip well?
