Default Modding help

So I need new tires on my NFR S. The car is completely stock with the exception of the OEM hardtop. I've been eyeing some Time Attack TE37's. I'm kind of using the excuse that I need tires to buy new wheels too Will it look funny without being dropped?

I will never drop the car more than an inch, so the possibility is there to put maybe an H&R prokit on or something similar. Should I do wheels now, drop later, or just keep my cash and pick up a set of stock tires once more?

Ummm.......it dosen't matter if you buy the wheels now and drop later, or if you drop now and buy later. The only thing I would watch out for if you buy the wheels first don't go to large, because there might be a fitment issue when you go to drop it. If your going to drop it an inch or more all the way around then I wouldn't go larger than 17's. If you are dropping it say .5 inches or no srop at all then you would be safe going with 18's. Either way it will look great

One more thing Im not sure, if it is the same in the S becuase I never dropped mine, but think about a whole coil over system, instead of just springs. Eventyally the altered ride height will blow your shocks and struts.

a lot of it has to do with the offsets of the wheels. it really doesnt matter what order you do it in, a 1 inch drop shouldnt be too aggressive (i am dropped 1.3 inches and running 18's). the springs will wear down on the stock shocks, but to be honest, the stock shocks are very well engineered. i am running springs along with Koni shocks, and you may want to research into that when your stock shocks start to wear.. or else, you can just invest yourself in a set of coilovers.

If you want wheels, buy wheels. If you want to drop the car, drop the car. If you just want tires, buy tires. It's really not that hard.
