Default Need advice

Curious to know what would be a better setup. I am looking at a set of 17" wheels that are available in 7 or 8 inch for the front with a 48mm offset. The rear is a 9" with a 63mm offset. Will the 8" work up front without rubbing or should I stick with the 7" ?

8" up front would work depends on the offset.

If you intend to use 225 tires, 8" would be better. With 215's, 7" is adequate and there will be zero chance or rubbing.

I have seen the 17X8 ET48 with the 225/45R17. It is tight but they do work. WIth the 17X9 you would be in a 255/40R17 rear. The wider tires in the front do work the best.
If I can help let me know.

Thanks Jim. It is the Shuk WR1's I am interested in. I do not want to spend a fortune on wheels and these are reasonably priced and look to be of decent quality. My biggest concern is the front's rubbing with the 8 inchers. I am also planning on installing a set of Eibach springs which may aggrevate things more. Not sure what to do as the 7's are almost too small to run with the 9 inch rears and the 8 inch may rub.
