Default Need advice on tire size ....

I need to buy winters for my S. I found some guy selling 2 winters for a good price. the size is 205/50/16 which is slightly off for the fronts.

Do you think this will work or cause any problems??

what type of tire? They're all a little screwy on the sizes and even though they may all say the same thing, when you look at them, or even worse put them on, they aren't the same.

not sure about the size.

do you have the same tire for the rears?

most manufacturers strongly advise using matched (front/rear)sets of snow tires.

They are WS50. I know the proper size but like I said these are a good deal and I just wanted to know if anyone has an opinion or experience if the size would work okay or cause any problems.

Well, seeing as how the sizes you posted are not the proper size for stock wheels, I'd say, no.

When in doubt, ask Jim at Tire Rack.

are they new or used? i'd be wary of used blizzaks where the "good" rubber may have been used up already.

with snows, it's difficult to find the exact size... there just aren't that many options out there.
