Default Need help....17x8 +38 all around?

I'm a new owner of an '07 GPW and I've been looking at wheel options for my car. Right now I'm considering some 17" CE28 in standard S2K offset (+50 F / +63 R) then adding some spacers. Does this size look good on a stock body S? I like flushness but not into that crazy hellaflush BS.

I also already have a set of 17x8 +38 CE28 Genesis on my SI that I'd like to try on the S2000. Would this be possible without major bodywork to stock panels? I've been searching for a few days and can't seem to find an answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

+38 won't work without a bunch of mods.

Here are +50/+63 with 225/255 tires and no spacers. The fronts rub a little with a 1" drop and no mods.

Bilstein PSS9, very comfortable for the street and handles better than stock.

You would need a good fender roll and some camber but it is doable. Rear is much easier to fit than the front will be. If you already have them why not test fit them. If you are at stock ride height it will look odd.

Right now I'm lowered on Eibach springs but I'm gonna look into those Bilsteins to go a little lower in the front.

How about them not being staggered. How does that affect the qualities of the car?

I don't think I wanna mess too much with the car's body panels. Maybe I should leave them on my civic and buy another set for the S in a suitable size and offset. I really like the set-up on s2ka's ride and another S I saw that had +43 F / +54 rear.
