So would a +38 be the same on all rims? Or does the styling of the wheel affect that also?

all rims will have that effect ... offset simply is the virtual center to the backside of the hub ... so the size ( +38 on that wide wheel ) will always stick out the same.

I see. The reason why I ask is because I saw a s2000 with +35 blitz type 01 wheels and they looked like they fit pretty good. My other choice would be blitz type 01's but it seems like a lot of s2kers have these wheels.

its probably running lots of camber like Ubetit stated...
