Exclamation NEED INFO on VOLK offset!

Hey all ya S2K owners! I just recently joined the elite car owners club and got my own S2000! However, coming from a Acura Intergra background, I know nothing about the S2000. Here is my problem. I have decided on Volk GTN's or Volk GTC's in 17". I really REALLY need some honest information on the proper size in in width, offset, and even size. Also size of the tire for front and rear. I can't seem to get any solid info from the wheel places. I don't want to commit and have them tell me... hey, u need 17/7's in the front and 18/8's in the back and when they mount the wheels, it ends up too wide or not wide enough etc. I want to stay 17" all around. I'm not looking for the Volk's to be wider than the car or stick out from the wheel well. Also I am in the Orange County/LA County area. What stores carry a good selection of Volk's? Most places said I have to order them and place a no refundable deposit. Thanks guys for any info that can be given!

Thanks SIIK2NR. I just looked at my Volk catalogue and ur right no 17" GT7. So now I have decided to go with the GTN or the GTC. Do you know about the width and offset for front and rear that I should get? Thanks!

18x7.5 front +55 225/40/18
18x8 rear +65 255/35/18

Most rims DO NOT support those offset numbers. Try to stay as close to them as possible. Some vendors sell Volks with the +50 f/r offset but some people are complaining about rubbing. It also depends on the tire you use cause of the sidewall height.

I've researched 18's for 6 months. There are a lot of factors involved to include the ride height/camber/alignment.

Use this link to determine the fitment issues: http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

Good luck.......
