Thumbs up Need recommendation for good tire in rain...

I'm going to be moving to Atlanta this year and I hear it rarely snows there. So, I'm going to get rid of my winter tires and get new all season or summer tires that are good in rain. I have 17" rims and anyone got a recommendation?

The Fuzion ZRi has excellent wet traction and decent dry. I've never had the RE 050A's. I have the RE750's on the rears at the moment (was kinda an emergency and it was the only tire in 255/40/17 within 40mi radius) no complaints yet but they only have about 2500mi on them.

Goodyear Eagle F1. The best tires I have ever used in the rain (rated best in wet by most tire comparos). The only tire that ever tied the score was the Toyo T1S, but those are discontinued.

Bridgestones (and I a huge fan of them) IMHO arent good in cities where the roads are less than fantastic. The large groove makes the tire prone to tramlining (think or train wheel on railroad tracks)....

However, I only highly recommend the goodyears if you have 18"s and above.

*edit*

Just re-read your first post.....forget the goodyears. They arent that great in 17s. The sidewalls are a bit on the soft side for our car. Stick with the bridgestones....may even want to try the s03s.

Ive been a mod for almost a year now.

But yeah, if you can spare the cash, the S03s are the way to go.

SO3's have been discontinued. Currently only 205/40ZR17 are available in 17 inch.
