That's odd...in the link of recommended tires, the rears are all 225. Which one is correct?

For the stock 16" rims, definitely do 245 rears for any tire other than stock S02.

You're really not going to find anything out there that delivers performance like the S02s for anything cheaper. In other words, if you go cheaper (like ES100 or Ecsta 712) you will noticeably sacrifice grip.

Sounds like your best bet might be to shop around and see who can give you the best deal on S02s. Under $600 should be possible.

Jim, chime in if you dont mind.

I think Im going with the RE750's.

Confirm this sizing,
front- 205/50/16
rear- 245/45/16

Also, I want going to lower with Espelir springs, this wont rub will it?

I did alittle more research, and in one post Jim states that "The re750 will not handle nearly as well as the S02". I know that not much will, but this still scares me. I push my car (to what extent, I dont know, I have never lost the rear around a corner or anything) , and I also ordered some suspension mods, springs and an x-brace, so the last thing I want to do now is get poor tires.

Jim- do you think I will be dissapointed with the RE750?

Also, someone said to get 225 front 245 rear, should I? Or would it be better for a fairly novice driver to keep the 205's to induce understeer, which I am more comfortable with?

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy the S-02's again.

So you don't have to do 245 for the rear if you get MX's?

You should, all other tires except S02s should be in 245 format for the rear.

Does anyone have advice for my situation?

I cant decide between the S-03 or S-02. The S-03 is supposed to perform better based on the tirerack ratings, but I dont know much more than that.

Hmm, it seems that the S-03 is better in the wet, and will last alittle longer, but may sacrafice grip in the dry. I dont think I want to do that, as I never push my car in the wet, nor did I ever feel unsafe in the wet with my S-02s. I think I will just order S-02's again.

How much should I expect to pay to have them mounted and aligned? Also, do you think I can fit four of these tires into the trunk and back seat of a Lexus LS430?
