Default Need tires for AP2 V1s

Ive been running with tein flex's for about a month now and Ive known the rear camber needs to be adjusted but haven't had the time or money to do so. Today I looked at the rear tires and the inside of the rear passenger side looks like a slick! The drivers isnt as bad yet.
Ive been doing some research and decided I want to go with 255/40/17 on the rears. The front tires still have about 4000 miles or so left on them(stock 215's).
Ive read that the dunlop star specs are really good tires however at over $150 a tire its out of my budget at the moment. I don't do any autocross, just spirited driving. I'm just looking for a good quality tire that won't kill my budget and need your input. I have the car set pretty low at the moment and Im planing on getting the car "corner weighed" and alighned the next 2 days so I can at least make it another week before the new tires arrive. Should I wait for the alignment until after the new tires and just get the camber fixed? Im a bit confused with all this!

If you run a nicer tire such as the star spec or something similar I'd say just go with the 245s in the rear. They will give you the same or more grip than a lower performance 255 tire will. I have 255 bfg g-force sports on my ap2v1's for the rear and they are definitely wide tires and the car feels real good. They won't kill you for price either.

definitely get an alignment either first or right after getting the tires so the uneven wear doesn't happen again on your new tires

Okay so i got the alignment done, and I have the print out with all the measurements which i dont really know how to read. He says he maxed out the camber on the pass. rear and still couldnt get it perfect, though it is a bit better. He says Ill need a camber kit?! Say it aint so ! I can upload the pic of the measurements if that helps! I think im going to order tires and take it to a shop that works on a lot of s2000s after i have them installed.

I got the euro alignment and I am lowered with Megan coilovers on 18s.

Get the Sumitomo HTR Z III or the Dunlops. I know the Dunlops aren't the Star Specs, but they're still good. Either of those two would work though.
